The Road Patrol Division is responsible for patrolling approximately 1200 square miles of roads within the county, as well as, approximately 94,000 residents. The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division is comprised of 28 full time Deputies, Special Deputies, 4 Sergeants/shift supervisors which report to the Uniform Division Lieutenant in charge of the Road Patrol division.
Administrative oversight of the Road Patrol Division is by the Chief Deputy.
